Our Mission

We endeavor to build a community of driven learners in a setting that feels like home.  Through the use of hands-on, gentle lessons in a wide variety of subjects, we provide an atmosphere in which children grow in both knowledge and love for their Creator, their world, and their fellow man.

Our Philosophy

Gateway Learning is built on a biblical view of education. We believe that children, made in the image of God, should be nurtured and guided in building character, healthy habits, and a lifelong love for learning.

Our Programs

We spread an abundant and delicate feast in the programs and each small guest assimilates what he can.
— Charlotte Mason

Gateway Learning is a small private school partnering with parents to give our children a rich, robust, and delightful education that values their individuality. We offer a unique learning environment, reminiscent of the one room schoolhouse. Here you will experience a collision of the very best pieces of collaborative classroom schooling with the many benefits of homeschooling!

“I just wanted to sincerely thank you. We went from having Lucia be anxious and hating to go to school every single day to her absolutely thriving and loving every second. We are so incredibly thankful for the impact Gateway is having on her!”

"Gateway has been such a blessing to our family and was exactly what we were looking for in a school."

"I love that Cassie helps my son figure out how to think and then write, versus WHAT to think. I believe that Gateway provides a safe space for kids to articulate their ideas and Cassie makes them feel special and important by asking them what their ideas are."

"Rather than sitting through long lectures or repetitive worksheets, my child is engaged through hands-on experiences, rich discussions, and meaningful connections to real life. It's not about cramming information-it's about forming relationships with knowledge.  Reading used to be one of the greatest sources of conflict in our home.  My daughter once told me that being asked to read felt like a form of discipline. But now, because she's being introduced to living books-books are full of life, ideas, and imagination-she picks up books on her own. No reminders. No pressure. She actually enjoys it.  The shift didn't happen overnight, but it's been lasting.  She's no longer associating reading with stress.  Instead, she's found delight in stories, curiosity in history, and wonder in nature.  The change is not just academic-it's deeply personal.  We are so thankful to be a part of Gateway Learning. It has been a beautiful answer to prayer."
